I’m Sarah and I’m mum to Beatrice (Bea) and Edith who both attend Hagbourne Primary School before they joined Hagbourne Primary School. I joined the committee in June 2022. We live just outside of Hagbourne in Didcot with my Husband Jeff and our very fluffy dog, Flossie.

At the moment I’m a full time mum to both of my girls and carer for Edith who has complex medical needs and a physical disability. Prior to this I have been a Primary school Teacher for the 15 years specialising in Early Years. For the last six years of my career I was in Senior Leadership at a large village primary school and as a Deputy Head in a new town based Primary school locally. During my 15 year career I have also worked as an Early Years advisor for the County Council, supporting local schools to improve their Early Years provision, as a Phonics improvement lead and as Maths Specialist Teacher where I lead CPD and Maths focussed school improvement.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time on the committee so far, it’s great to use the skills I’ve gained working in Education to support Preschool and help it to continue to flourish and grow alongside the amazing staff.
